Mobile Market Team Member
Job Summary Now Hiring Part Time & Full Time! 10 hour shifts!
Even with Giant Eagle's tremendous store footprint in the Greater Pittsburgh area, some of our neighbors unfortunately do not have access to fresh food and our services because of where they live. To help combat these food deserts, we invested in a Mobile Grocery Truck that is ran out of our South Fayette Giant Eagle. We are looking to assemble an amazing team to bring our great products and services to every guest regardless of where they live.Job Description The day starts and ends at our South Fayette Giant Eagle location. \u00A0The Mobile Market travels to recurring weekly stops in the City of Pittsburgh to sell grocery products.\u00A0 As a Mobile Market Team Member, you will be responsible for stocking product onto the Mobile Market prior to leaving the home base, travel with the team to the locations, ring register, assist customers and once returned to home base, remove perishable stock Job Requirements - Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
- Education Desired: No High School diploma required
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Age Requirement: At least 16 years of age
Job Responsibilities - Provide exemplary customer service by ensuring products are replenished on the shelves, helping customers locate product and ensuring customers\u2019 orders are processed through our registers accurately and efficiently in the friendliest manner\u00A0\u00A0
- Become familiar with products in the Mobile Market to answer questions and make suggestions to customers
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, including entrance areas.
- Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customer\u2019s safety.
- Assist in other areas as required
